September is the month for going back to school and the 2020-2021 school year is underway. For this reason, from the library, we have prepared a small exhibition that you can visit in the library’s lobby and with which we want to show you how the world of children is reflected in our collection.

The exhibition is divided into three display cases, two of which contain children's books and in which you can find examples of children's books illustrated by renowned Catalan illustrators: Lola Anglada, Feliu Elias, Joan Junceda, Apel·les Mestres, Xavier Nogués, Josep Obiols and Pere Torne-Esquius, among others. The third display case contains documents that show how children perceive art and how they express themselves artistically, even in times as traumatic as the Spanish Civil War.
