TRAM will promote again the artwork from museums of Barcelona

Date range:
05/02/2019

El TRAM has signed for another year a cooperation agreement with multiple museums to promote culture, to facilitate the promotion of exhibitions and to promote the cultural offer from the museums and cultural centres in the city.

This agreement consists in sign boards on a Barcelona metropolitan tram with images of the museums and their exhibitions that are on from now until the end of the year 2019. The Museu Nacional in particular will show the artworks on the tram from February 1 to March 31.

This year the museum has opted to show the artworks that better represents the collection of the museum as a whole. Works such as: el Apse of Sant Climent de Taüll, by Master of Taüll; la The Ill-Matched couple, by Lucas Cranach (the Elder); La dona impúdica (The Shameless Woman), by Àngel Planells; or Monique, the first bikini in Ibiza, by Oriol Maspons, among others.

This agreement has been signed by the Consorci Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, the Fundació Joan Miró and the Fundació Museu Picasso de Barcelona. All of them will also show their artworks and announce their future exhibitions.
