The artist Sergio Monje brings us a new family activity to design a new scenography for some of the museum’s sculptures. At the museum, images are represented without their context, their original place or function, and therefore they’ve been transformed and subjected to other stories. But, could you imagine The First Cold, by Miquel Blay, at a Formentera beach? By his expression, Sergio Monje can.
You can work in the design of the new scenography in group or by yourself, always from a neutral printed background, a beach, a forest, a street… of large or medium format, upon which you can add all the elements you think essential to build the background you pictured in your head.
Once the backgrounds are done, at the rooms and behind the chosen sculptures, like in a “photocall”, we’ll take some pictures.
First activity of Under the museum there’s a beach, original idea by Joana Llauradó with Sergio Monje, Eulàlia Rovira, Adrian Schindler and Aldo Urbano from Sala d'Art Jove.
