The European Network FLIC is an international programme for Illustration and Design Schools, Artistic A Levels students and professionals in this sector that aims to give a chance to the youth that are being educated in this field and those who are just starting in as professionals. A chance to promote and strengthen the dialog between literature and illustration.

With the intention to promote the emerging talent in the field of illustrated literature, FLIC promotes this network launching a challenge: participants of each edition must illustrate one of the literary texts from a selection that we offer, and must do it on an unconventional object that will vary depending on the theme.

The 9^th FLIC Festival edition is about Literary Landscapes, and the unconventional object to draw upon are glasses. In the museum, as part of this edition of Literary Experiences, you can come see the creativity of the participants in this project for free, in the glasses exhibition, from February 9 to March 9 (the day of the FLIC festival), in the space adjacent to the museum’s shop (the old bookstore).

Three judges have picked three different categories: junior, senior and professional. Finally, on March 15 and 16, the winners will be announced at the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona during the Professional FLIC conference.
