Integral study and restoration (pdf) Description:
The presentation of the Stoning of Saint Stephen from Boí, framed and removed from its original location, where it was standing in a high position at the end of the side nave, enables a close look at one of the most representative scenes of the wall decoration at Boí. Narrative and dynamism are some of the characteristics of a pictorial style relative to the French art of the region of Poitiers. Focusing on the iconography, the topic depicted proves the importance of a widespread worship of specific saints due to French influence.Study and restoration - pdf 1,05 Mb
