The Museu Nacional arrives at Tokyo with “Barcelona, the city of artistic miracles”
The exhibition Barcelona. The city of artistic miracles about the Barcelona of modernism was inaugurated today in the Tokyo Station Gallery and that will be open to the public until April 5, 2020.
The exhibition, with around 120 works (paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, models, plans and objects), explains the transformation of Barcelona city and the artistic effervescence that lived during the last decades of the 19th century and the first of the 20th.
The museum has collaborated with the loan of around 60 works by artists such as Ramon Casas, Santiago Rusiñol, Carles Casagemas, Isidre Nonell, Joaquim Mir, Ricard Canals, Romano Ribera, Antoni Gaudí, Gaspar Homar, Julio González.
