Albumen paper

Albumen paper is a procedure that is obtained by beating a mixture of egg white and salt. Then, a thin sheet of paper is covered with the mixture, left to dry and sensitized by dipping it in silver, which reacts to form silver chloride. The exposure is made by direct contact between the negative and the paper exposed to sunlight, with which one obtains a positive image with the desired level of darkening.
