Program
On 23 and 24 February 2023 the Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) and the museum, in collaboration with the Arts in Health International Foundation (AiHIF), are organising an international symposium.
For two days, professionals from the fields of health, arts and culture will come together to share their knowledge, activities and interests, and present their experiences on the implementation of the Arts in Health strategy in their respective organisations.
The conference will feature professionals in the field of arts and health and world leaders such as Christopher Bailey, head of the Arts in Health Initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO), and Antonella Poce, head of the international project Inclusive Museums for well-being and health through the creation of a new shared memory, who will share their knowledge and experiences.
Objectives:
- Bringing together practitioners from the arts, public health and community development sectors.
- Share impactful programmes and models of practice.
- Generate dialogue around key issues affecting health, wellbeing and health equity, including social determinants and drivers of health.
- Promote creativity, innovation and solutions to these issues.
- Strengthen partnerships between the arts, public health and community development sectors in Catalonia and globally.
