Acquisition of the Lluís Plandiura Collection

Among the numerous acquisitions of works by the museum in the first three decades of the 20th century, it is worth highlighting the purchasing of the collection of Lluís Plandiura (in Spanish), the most important in the country.  It comprises 1,869 works, mainly of archaeology, paintings and sculpture.
