Any plans for this summer? At the museum we open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm, come visit us! We have a lot of activities for all of you.

• The museum’s night, a night of open doors, music, dance, circus and gastronomy, Saturday July 15 from 8 pm to 1 am.
• Museum Quiz Summer Tour, participate on Wednesdays during July on this quiz that will take place in different museums around Barcelona. The date at the Museu Nacional is July 12, from 10 pm to 11.30 pm.
• Ismael Smith, the beauty and the monsters, an exhibition dedicated to this provocative artist. For the firs time, a panoramic vision of his production. Open until September 17.
• Enjoy the best collection of Romanesque mural paintings and the artists of Catalan modernism (like Gaudí or Casas). The Gothic Art and the collection of photography complete the expositive tour. Visit the 20 medieval masterpieces of the Gallardo Collection too, one of the most important donations in the history of the museum, in the medieval art galleries.
• Don’t miss out on the display From vignette to vignette. Itinerary in comic book code by Modern Art, comic vignettes in artwork labels format that you can see around the Modern Art Collection. Or the video-installation by David Claerbou, Olympia, from the Loop Festival, at the Modern Art Collection, room 78.
• Synthesis, Official Master in Contemporary Artistic Creation of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universitat de Barcelona, a show with the creations of four master’ students open to the public at the educArt Space until September 24.
• Creadors en Residència brig us the installation Quo vadis – On vas, by visual artist Víctor Jaenada and students from IES Les Corts, on view until September at the pace next to the Sala Oval.
