Description:

On the occasion of the participatory installation on view in the Museum’s Oval Hall from 20 December to 6 January, two guided tours will take place on 23 and 30 December, led by Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca himself through his participatory installation Natura Centrum Est. Oval Camp.

Founder of the avant-garde performance groups Els Rinos and La Fura dels Baus, and creator of a body of work that fuses technology, action, and body art, Antúnez has in recent years directed his research towards a collaborative form of art that is deeply connected to nature.

During the tour, the artist will share how he has worked with various collectives and organisations to advocate for nature, environmentalism, and agrarian culture, and will guide visitors through his distinctive camp. The tours offer privileged access to the work and to the artist’s thinking in a close, participatory, and experiential format. A unique opportunity to explore Natura Centrum Est from within and to engage in dialogue with one of the most singular creators on the contemporary scene.

Participatory installation: open from 20 December to 6 January during museum opening hours.
