2, 3 and 4 January
From 12 pm to 1 pm
Price: €2, no prior registration required
From 20 December to 6 January, for only two weeks, artist Marcel·lí Antúnez will transform the Oval Hall into a camp inhabited by the works he has created and co-created in recent years with the participation of diverse and heterogeneous individuals and groups, with nature at its core. With Natura centrum est. Oval Camp you will be able to enter Antúnez’s participatory installation —he is co-founder of La Fura dels Baus— and become part of it through the daily parades held at 12 pm, except on Mondays and public holidays.
This activity invites visitors to immerse themselves in the artist’s imagination by interacting with the costumes and posters he has designed; participants will join a playful yet activist-style parade led by Antúnez himself and a band of musicians. The activity lasts approximately one hour.
Natura centrum est brings together backdrops and objects, including the giant figure of Vulcan, the eyelid backdrops, and the enormous drawings that, like pop-up books, can change appearance when opened like windows.
Participatory installation: open from 20 December to 6 January during museum opening hours.
No prior registration required
