The Agència Catalana del Patrimoni Cultural (The Catalan Cultural Heritage Agency) has launched the Giravolt3D project, which approaches Catalan cultural heritage and makes it more accessible. New technologies open up a wide range of possibilities for the conservation and dissemination of culture and, in particular, 3D also allows us to get to know and delve into all the details of the works. The museum is participating with some of its most emblematic works from the collection: The first cold by Miquel Blay, The dancer de Pablo Gargallo and Saint John and The Virgin from Descent from the cross from Erill la Vall.

In the latter case, technology has brought together all the figures of the sculptural ensemble of Descent from the cross from Erill la Vall, currently located in different places: those of St. John and the Virgin are in the Museu Nacional and those of Dimas, Gestas, Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus Christ are in the Episcopal Museum of Vic, and in this way we can get an idea of how the ensemble showed itself off in the church. Discover its history: The theatre of faith.
