7è Art (7th Art) Program (pdf - 1.26 Mb)
The museum programs a series of films related to its own themes: collections, temporary exhibitions, biographies of artists, artworks, the creative process, the museum as an institution...
Juliette Binoche puts in the shoes of Camille Claudel, one of the most famous French sculptors of the nineteenth century, disciple and lover of Auguste Rodin. Despised and forgotten by the system and her own family, she spent her last years interned in a asylum on the outskirts of Avignon. Influenced by "The Passion of Joan of Arc" (1928) by Dreyer, Bruno Dumont films a psychological, terrifying and harsh portrait of Claudel in his last stage that shows the invisibility, loneliness and isolation that creative women have experienced throughout the History of Art.
