Recently the Fundación Compromiso y Transparencia (Compromise and Transparency Foundation) has published their third study about transparency in museum webs around Spain, A través del espejo (Through the mirror), in which the museum is defined as transparent.

The study identifies that a third of the analysed museums during this 3 years have shown an improvement in their transparency politics, which has resulted in more museums classified as transparent in their ranking, including the Museu Nacional. That reflects the will of the museums to improve and propel transparency.

The museum is also the only museum in the study that publishes a Social Responsibility Report, made to better identify the expectations and wishes of our visitors.

For more information about transparency in the museum, the article Museums’ transparency on their websites, in the museum’s blog.
