Description:
Pèl & Ploma is the art and literature podcast produced by the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya and Biblioteques de Barcelona. Across eight episodes, writers and art experts from the museum share their perspectives on selected works from the collection. In each episode, the guest author chooses one of their own texts, inspired by a museum artwork, which serves as the starting point for a relaxed conversation about literature, art, and life in general.
On Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 AM, as part of a full-day event dedicated to reflecting through the arts and critical thought on the New MNAC project, we invite you to attend the live recording of the final episode. On this occasion, thinker Ingrid Guardiola will discuss with contemporary art curator Àlex Mitrani the paintings in the Dome Room by Francesc Galí, opening reflections on the future of the museum with a 2029 horizon.
The podcast can be followed via the MNAC+ Channel and Ràdio Maconda. In addition to the conversation recorded in front of the artwork in the museum galleries, the episode includes the author’s reading of their text from the Ràdio Maconda studio, located in the Gabriel García Márquez Library.
