On the occasion of the exhibition Jujol, by Perejaume, we will travel to Sant Joan Despí to discover the rich heritage that Josep Maria Jujol left behind, a testament to a creative language that fuses architecture, decorative arts and craftsmanship.

Jujol developed a deeply personal style: he broke with the established conventions of his time and paved the way for new forms of expression. His creativity can be seen in buildings featuring wrought iron, sgraffito, painting, wood, furniture and an extraordinary use of colour, elements that make up a unique and unmistakable artistic universe.

During the tour, we will visit Torre de la Creu, popularly known as Torre dels Ous because of the oval shape of its domes; Can Negre, one of his most emblematic works; and the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista, where we will be able to admire its distinctive interior decoration and, especially, its pulpits.

The tour will be led by Montse Duran Albareda, art historian and friend of the MNAC.
