Description:

An afternoon to travel to Gosé's Paris with Fantômas:

From 15 to 18h, visit the exhibition Xavier Gosé, 1876-1915. Illustrator of modernity

18 h: Screening of the movie La mort qui tue (Louis Feuillade, 1914). In the Paris of the first decade of the 20th century, a sadistic character, sociopath, master of disguise and moral ambiguity crosses the streets and seduces the artists of first avant-garde: Fantômas. It is the Paris of the high class, first class, luxurious hotels, trunks full of jewels, rich widows, bowler hats and tailcoat: it is the Paris that Xavier Gosé portrayed in his drawings. Fantômas burst into our lives ready to question our bourgeois convictions.

And if you come with children from 6 years old... We propose you to enjoy the autonomous activity My fashionable magazine. While you visit the exhibition, Gosé's illustrations will be useful to you as inspiration in order to design your own fashionable magazine in family.

Ask for the material to the personnel of the exhibition room.
