Decomposing Gaudí

Decomposing Gaudí

Wednesday 26th January 2022, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

Place:
Temporary Exhibition Room 1
Prices:

Activity free of charge by booking a place through the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc.

Description:
Onsite drawing workshop

Sketches, plans, sculptures, models, furniture, design of objects, buildings, skyscrapers, etc.  Antoni Gaudí's production covers all areas of architecture and all scales with a line of thought that crosses them and turns them in a whole in unison.

Each piece in the exhibition presents a story that, together with the others, ends up telling us about Gaudí’s work and, through it, the person and the character.

By means of drawing a selection of pieces from the exhibition, we will compose our own interpretation of Gaudí’s work, remaking a new story based on decomposing the parts in order to unite them, creating new meanings.

Free technique drawing: pencil, charcoal, ink or watercolour.

Necessary utensils:

  • Bring a hard base on which to work, standing or sitting.
  • Bring sheets of white paper preferably between dinA4 and dinA3.

Activity carried out by the architects Anna and Eugeni Bach.
