Barcelona Dibuixa 2021
Barcelona Dibuixa 2021
Sunday 24 October 2021, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free activity
The museum is taking part in the third edition of Barcelona Dibuixa, organising the workshop on voice figures Hablar el paisaje (Talking Landscape), led by Fito Conesa, artist in residence at the Museu Nacional.
In this workshop, Fito Conesa will teach us how to create voice flowers, translating sound into images with the help of foodstuffs such as coffee, milk, etc. We will learn about visual music, a field of experimentation that at the end of the 19th century tried to generate colours and shapes from music, and replicate the experiments of the pioneers of this technique, such as Margaret Watts-Hughes (United Kingdom, 1842-1907).
To take part in the workshop, we suggest that you visit the Barcelona Dibuixa website, watch the video tutorial of the workshop prepared by Fito Conesa and put the technique he explains into practice at home. On 24 October, from 11 am to 3 pm, if you come to the Oval Hall of the museum, you will be able to follow the workshop with the artist.
In parallel to the workshop, on the same day, the museum will also be offering the activity The museum drawn.
Activity organised by the Museu Nacional and ICUB, in collaboration with the Museu Picasso, Homesession and ARTefACTe.
