The cycle of conferences Art i història als museus de Barcelona focuses this year on the recovery and reinvention of the medieval world on the XIXth and XXth century. We inaugurate this cycle of six conferences on Tuesday, 5 of April, in the Museu Nacional, with La imatge vuitcentista del patrimoni català medieval. Del dibuix a la fotografia, in charge of Francesc Quílez Corella (coordinator of Collections and conservative chief of the Drawings and Engravings of the Museu Nacional) and Montse Gumà (head of Digital Media of the Museu Nacional).

The six conferences of this year will be realized in diverse museums of Barcelona and they will be complemented with a private visit to the museums - closed to the public-, where they will be able to contemplate the pieces:
