Feliu Elias developed, under the pseudonym Apa, an important activity as a satirical cartoonist in magazines and newspapers, such as El Poble Català, Cu-cut!, L'Esquella de la Torratxa or Papitu, among many others.

As part of the exhibition on Feliu Elias, this workshop delves into his creative processes and discovers how he approached the challenge of making a satirical cartoon, analysing his aesthetic and expressive resources, and uncovering his contributions in the field of the Catalan and European caricature of the moment, so that we can also create current caricatures.

Following the same method as the artist, we will sharpen the pencil and dirty our fingers with Chinese ink to create satirical cartoons, accompanied by the cartoonist Jaume Capdevila (KAP), author who publishes in the newspaper La Vanguardia or in the magazine El Jueves, and also some of the main specialists in the history of the satirical press in our country.
