Within the programming that the museum carries out in March to mark International Women's Day, we screened this animated film in which Iranian cartoonist, painter and filmmaker Marjane Satrapi explains how she grew up in the context of the fundamentalist regime, and how she ended up leaving her country.
Persepolis is a rare little gem, an agile, moving and universal tale that gives music a leading role, mixing comics with the appalling reality in the period from the Islamic revolution to the present day.
