Description:

Guided visit to the museum to show the historical and cultural heritage to the visitors through medieval European tales by the hand of Pau Gerez, Doctor in Medieval History and Romanesque Philology and a teaching partner in the UOC.

The European Literature and heritage cycle. Medieval art and literature itineraries, organized by Neus Rotger, professor of Art and Humanities studies in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, has three free guided visits open to everyone at the Museu Episcopal de Vic, the Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya  and the Museu Nacional.

The purpose of the visit at the Museu Nacional is to show the connexion between visual arts and literature from the Romanesque era. This way we’ll speak about the relation between the large sets of mural painting preserved by the museum and the literature of that time.
