Clarà, sculptor. This book completes the series of three catalogues on the work of Josep Clarà published in order to bring the artist’s work to a wider audience. Originally belonging to the Museu Clarà (no longer in existence as such), they were deposited with MNAC in 1995 by the Barcelona city government. This particular catalogue includes a study of the artist's personal and professional trajectories, the different stages he passed through, the influence of other artists on him, his adherence to Noucentisme, his movement toward academicism, etc. It also includes an anthology of Clarà's most significant sculptures, with the corresponding technical data and commentaries, a chronology, a bibliography and the Spanish, English and French translations of the texts.
