Isidre Nonell (1972-1911). This catalogue brings the reader closer to one of the great masters of Catalan painting, Isidre Nonell (1872-1911), through a selection of his paintings and drawings. Studies by a number of experts allow one to go deeper into the pictorial language of this artist, into his career (from the unsuccessful early exhibits to the acclaim given to Nonell one year before his death), and into the very personal techniques and procedures of his drawings. A literary essay by Eugeni d'Ors dated from 1902 is also included.
