What lies behind the Romanesque paintings preserved in the Museum? Their history goes far beyond what we can see at first glance.

During the tour, we will explore lesser-known aspects of the works in the Romanesque art collection. Drawing on studies carried out by the Museum’s conservation and restoration team, we will learn how new fragments have been incorporated into the exhibition space, as well as about discoveries relating to the materials and techniques used during the Middle Ages.

An opportunity to look at Romanesque paintings with fresh eyes and discover everything that cannot be seen at first glance. We look forward to seeing you!
