After an initial visit to the Romanesque art collection galleries, where we will explore the scientific and theoretical knowledge of medieval artists and the use of pigments and colors in their paintings, participants will create a self-portrait in the Romanesque style. Using the three-tone technique employed by Romanesque painters for faces, this process involves layering polychrome to achieve the characteristic effect.
