Three independent guided tours of the exhibition, led by Pere Llobera, Maria Gelpí, and Lola Josa.
- Maria Gelpí: Guided tour of Zurbarán (Super)natural by Maria Gelpí, a Philosophy professor specializing in artistic avant-gardes, with degrees in Law and Theology. She writes for various media outlets such as El Confidencial, Muy Historia, and La Nueva Carne.
This tour will explore the relationship between still life and living nature, focusing on the symbolism of white in Zurbarán’s work—as a color at the origin of both life and death. Through a dialogue between Zurbarán’s art and contemporary works, we will reconsider everyday objects as “vibrant matter”, following the example of Saint Francis, who saw elements like the sun, the moon, and the wind as creatures full of vitality.
Upcoming guided tours:
- Lola Josa: June 7
