All the weekends, new proposals

All the weekends, new proposals

Date range:
05/05/2023

From 6th May, the MNAC launches a new programme of activities that shakes up the Museum with experiences, special visits, shows, artistic workshops, games and vermouth

Coinciding with the beginning of summer timetable, when the museum remains open until 8 p.m., on Saturdays and Sundays the MNAC turns the collection around and shakes it up with music, micro-shows and artistic activities, activations of works and author visits that propose different itineraries focusing on topics such as gender, sustainability or identity.

Every weekend the Museum will offer new proposals. On Saturday afternoons, some of the works in the collection will be activated based on what they represent or inspire, through words, music, dance or performance. To get to know the Museum in depth, you can also visit spaces usually restricted to the public, such as the reserves, the restoration workshops, the archive or the library.

The MNAC will also offer gastronomic tours accompanied by experiences to discover cuisine through history and walks around Montjuïc in an artistic style to discover the gardens, the cemetery under the prism of art or the footprints of the Civil war.

Artistic practice will be another of the strengths of this programme, with always diverse proposals, which can be carried out with teachers or on their own.

In a festive atmosphere, there will also be a reading and games corner and spaces for having a vermouth and picnics, all designed to spend the day in a playful atmosphere, meeting friends, family, participating in activities or freely.

The range of activities will be very dynamic and will be updated and can be consulted at capdesetmanaMNAC.cat
