In 2022, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) awarded the Institutional Energy Management Accésit prize to the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya for its good practices in energy management in compliance with the efficiency commitments acquired with the ISO 14001 certification, the IQNet Rs10 Social Responsibility certification and the application of the principles and procedures of Energy Engineering. This award recognises the efforts of the General Services Area and the entire staff of the museum for the reasonable use of energy resources and the contribution to sustainability.
