Meet Ukrainian artists Polina Doroshenko and Oksana Drachkovska.
 
We will learn about the children's tale Balthazar, written by Alina Revenko and Nina Dmytriyeva, and illustrated by Polina, which tells the story of a crocodile from Kyev (Ukraine) who wants to return to Africa, his country of origin and how he gains confidence in himself while facing difficult situations. From the format of this story and the help of Polina and Oksana, we can imagine our own tale and create our own story page in pop-up format.
 
This meeting is part of the VESNA Project (Spring), an artistic look at the destroyed or endangered Ukrainian heritage in the context of the Ukrainian war.
