For the fifth year and in line with the museum's social commitment, Little Stories, Great Women is one of the activities scheduled each year on the occasion of International Women's Day to promote the fight against discrimination against women in the art world and the field of intellectual creation and production and to promote the visibility of the work of women linked to the theme of each of the museums organizing the activity.

This is a family activity for adults and children (from 6 years old) that this year, after the restrictions for Covid, will have a face-to-face format again.

The activity will consist of a storytelling session, lasting about 45 minutes, led by an actress and dedicated to each of the women protagonists of the 9 participating museums. The museum is taking part on March 26.

The museums that organize the activity are: Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya, Museu Marítim de Barcelona, Museu Picasso, Museu del Disseny, Museus d’Esplugues, Fundació Miró, Museu d’Història de Catalunya and Recinte modernista Sant Pau.
