The universes of Albert Monteys is an exhibition produced by Ficomic for the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya that reviews the works of this author set in the genres of fantasy and science fiction, themes that are very important to him, as he is a great fan of these genres.

The project of the exhibition The universes of Albert Monteys arises, on the one hand, from the fact that Albert Monteys was the winner of the Prize for the Best Work by a Spanish Author in 2019 with ¡Universo! and, on the other hand, from the existing agreement between Ficomic and the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya to carry out activities around comics.

The exhibition offers a vision of works such as Calavera Lunar, Carlitos Fax, ¡Universo!, Solid State and Matadero Cinco, with original pieces and objects (dolls, books, comics) of science fiction that have influenced the author.  And, at the same time, a series of special drawings for this exhibition that provide his personal point of view on his works. In short, The universes of Albert Monteys is a sample of the author's very personal vision of his fantasy and science fiction universes, which shows the evolution of a cartoonist who enjoys a personal graphic design and great artistic quality.
