On Thursday May 16, at 7.30 pm, we’re presenting the book Mariano Andreu (1888-1976). Biography and reasoned catalog, with the presentation of the author Esther García, and gallerist Artur Ramon.
Mariano Andreu (November 7, 1888 - March 27, 1976), was a multifaceted artist, that developed and achieved success in all the artistic facets that he undertook such as enamel, drawing, engraving, painting, fashion, decoration, illustration of books and the designs of figurines and scenes for ballet, theater and cinema. It should be noted the relationships established with John Gielgud, Olivia de Havilland, Anthony Quayle, Michel Fokine, Henry de Montherlant, Jean Giraudoux, Jean Louis Vaudoyer, Frederic Mompou, Madronita, Mariana Marquesa, Ismael Smith and Manuel Rocamora, and others.
