12 screens in the foyer that offer you varied information:
Two vertical screens facing the outside that provide information about the current exhibitions and the permanent collection.
Two video-walls at the entrance welcome you in various languages, accompanied by photographs of the works of the collection.
Three screens behind the ticket offices offer you practical information: opening hours and prices of the admission tickets and the temporary exhibitions, announcements about the apps, etc. Each of the three screens provides information in a different language: Catalan, Spanish and English.
Another behind the information desk with information for groups, contains practical information.
Two vertical screens at the entrance to the temporary exhibition rooms, provide information about the exhibitions and show photographs of works from the collection.
Two horizontal screens in the foyer, provide information about the exhibitions and about services for users and how to become a member of the Friends of the Museu Nacional, etc.
Wall texts and posters
The exhibitions are accompanied by texts that contextualize the works on display and explain the exhibition. In some cases, educational spaces help to complement information in a more multidisciplinary way so as to enjoy a more complete visit. All the works in the museum accompanied by an information card in three languages (Catalan, Spanish and English), with technical details: author, title, chronology, technique and material and the way it was acquired.
