The Museu Nacional collaborates in the exhibition The city of artistic miracles about the Barcelona of modernism that was inaugurated today in the Nagasaki Prefectural Museum of Art and that will be open to the public until April 5, 2020 in five museums and art galleries of Japan.

The exhibition, with around 120 works (paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, models, plans and objects), explains the transformation of Barcelona city and the artistic effervescence that lived during the last decades of the 19th century and the first of the 20th.

The museum has collaborated with the loan of around 60 works by artists such as Ramon Casas, Santiago Rusiñol, Carles Casagemas, Isidre Nonell, Joaquim Mir, Ricard Canals, Romano Ribera, Antoni Gaudí, Gaspar Homar, Julio González.

Himeji City Museum of Art: from June 29 to August 25, 2019
Sapporo Art Park: from September 14 to November 4, 2019
Shizuoka City Museum of Art: from November 12, 2019, to January 19, 2020
Tokyo Station Gallery: from February 8 to April 5, 2020
