“9 Questions for a New Museum” Dialogues

“9 Questions for a New Museum” Dialogues

Friday 26 June (10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.)

Tuesday 30 June (11:30 a.m.)

Place:
Dome Hall
Description:
What questions should a museum like the MNAC ask itself when imagining its future? How can it become a benchmark for sustainability? How should it communicate within a rapidly changing cultural and digital ecosystem? Who educates whom in the museum? How can it contribute to health, well-being and community life? What priorities should guide the management of spaces, facilities and infrastructure in the context of the museum’s expansion?

The New MNAC faces complex, demanding challenges full of opportunities. To address them from a variety of perspectives, we are launching 9 Questions for a New Museum, a series of sector-focused conversations featuring leading professionals from each field. These sessions are structured around questions proposed by the speakers themselves, serving as a starting point for reflection and discussion.

We invite you to continue the conversation through a series of in-person dialogues at the Museum. Send us your questions via WhatsApp at +34 671 55 74 11; we will put them to the speakers on each panel. Save the dates in your calendar!

Because the best answers begin with the right questions.
