Description:
This panel was repainted in the 17th or 18th century because the original one was damaged, probably, by the heat of the candles lit by the faithful as an offering to the saint.
The last restoration of this panel by Huguet was presented at the "Barcelona restaura" exhibition held in 1980 (Saló del Tinell). The catalogue card explains that an 18th-century oil repainting was removed in order to recover the Gothic polychromy underneath.
