
Christmas cards are very tied to a fact or concrete event and have been conceived to be scorned once ended their function (they form part of what in technical terms it is known like "ephemera"). They constitute a group of unrepeatable and unique materials that turn into primary sources with a fundamental paper for the search into the study of graphical arts or social history.
The Library Joaquim Folch i Torres possesses a collection of greetings cards that we present at a virtual exhibition [2]. Collecting a small set of English postcards, dated between 1900 and 1910, from Matas Ramis Legacy, and postcards dated between the decades of 1940 and 1970, of unknown origin.
