The reasons behind the exhibition
"The Endless War"

The ‘making’ of the exhibition

When did the development of the exhibition The Endless War: Antoni Campañà begin at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya? How was the show conceived and assembled? The curator, Roser Cambray, tells us about the origins of the project and the importance of creating a retrospective view of the work of Antoni Campañà.

Telling a story through design

As told by Jesús Galdón, the designer of the exhibition The Endless War, we discover the importance of graphics in the creative process and how design allows us to tell stories. Galdón shows us his meticulous work in the processing of the images, the selection of fonts and colours and their application in the three sections of the exhibition.

Three voices explaining the tour

A very personal tour guided by Toni Monné, Arnau Gonzàlez i Vilalta and Plàcid Garcia-Planas, the exhibition curators. Admirers of Campañà, all three of them establish a dialogue to show us his most human side, and the importance of his photographs of the 20th century and its contrasts.

A photographer devoured by his work

An inaugural talk given by the curators of the exhibition, presenting the show, which can be visited until 18 July 2021.

1001 stories from nowhere

Jesús Galdón presents the installation that closes the exhibition, a dialogue with the photographer’s work in which the protagonists of the Civil War blend in with the scenery on the postcards to tell a new story.
