In spite of the eminent religious character of the medieval art, secular nobility used to act as a manager of order and funding of artistic work. The representation of the representee is not unusual in the Romanesque art, like testify here the presence of the countess Llúcia de Pallars, portrayed on the right inferior part of the apse. The noble lady dresses luxuriously and have on her hands a altar candle lit . This detail made us think that the paintings finalised after his death, documented in the year 1090.
