It is possible to see the art history from the perspective of the comic: the Palaeolithic art, the medieval altarpiece, the collage or the installations take part of a sequential order and the combination of text and image, two fundamental features of the ninth art. Jordi Carrión will be the person in charge of this conference and he will do a cross-curricular tour to stablish a link between classic forms and the great contemporary artists as Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Joaquín Torres García, Chris Ware o Alan Moore. An introduction to comic as a new art and the traditional arts as precursor of comic.
